Below are the scans of my lecture notes. They are from my 9:30 section, but I give the same lecture at 8:30. Section 8:30 is less crowded so if you are more of a morning person – or if you prefer a less crowded environment- you may want to attend that.

The notes below are not meant as a replacement for attending lectures. I am posting them so you can compare and fix your notes when you have to - if you miss something because you got distracted momentarily, you could not read something, because you did not take notes and preferred to listen to an explanation or you walked in late and missed a part.

If you miss a lecture, you should read the relevant section from the textbook and use the notes as a guide to what was important and emphasized in class.

TaylorNotes4 – Here is a video of this lecture in two parts from a previous quarter. Part 1 and Part 2

Here are notes for TaylorNotes5 –this would have been my Monday lecture. I will record a video for this and post it on Monday.

I recorded the lecture in the classroom. It was odd lecturing to empty chairs, while they were being cleaned. The document camera recorded it in three parts probably because of file size restrictions.

Part 1, part 2 and (tiny) Part 3
Also, here are the scans of what I wrote. Almost the same as notes above, with a couple extra problems I added.
