Final Exam Review Questions | Solns 1 to 5(b) Solns 5(c) to 7 |
This was NOT a final exam. It is a large compilation of old homework and exam questions from which to study. CORRECTIONS: I) 4(c)(i) should replace "is not a surjection" by "is a surjection" (so that my solution matches up). II) 6(a) The answer for the first sum should be x=7 and y=-9 which gives (7-9)^11=(-2)^11. (My solution does a different problem with x=7 and y=-8). The answer for the second sum is correct in my solution (but when I copied the problem down I didn't list the (-1) in the sum, but the final answer is right for the problem from the sheet). |
