Announcements

December 5: Here's that super long problem from class the other day, and here's the even-longer solution.
Don't forget about the review session this afternoon, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Denny 216!

December 2:
The final is on Saturday, December 6th! 5:00 PM – 7:50 PM, but the room depends on your section:
        Math 120C: ARC 147.
        Math 120D: GWN 301.
You should check out this list of topics again, and practice some old final exams (they're in the right column). Here's a list of which problems correspond to which chapter to aid your studying, and you should probably also look at the DFEPs again.
I'll be hosting a review session on Friday, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Denny 216.

November 21:
We've got a couple chapters to go still, but here's a list of topics for the final, for studying purposes.

November 5:
Yay, exam in one week! We'll cover up through Chapter 14, with an emphasis on the material since the last midterm (so, Chapter 7 onward). Again, you should:
    • Practice old exams here, with the aid of this post.
    • Check out the study guide here.
    • Practice some DFEPs.
    • Come to the review session:
       Wednesday 11/12, 3 PM – 5 PM
       Sieg Hall 224

October 20:
Here are some more quadratic optimization examples, for extra practice.

October 8:
Hey, there's an exam next week! It will cover Chapter 1 through Chapter 6. Various ways to study include:
    • Practice old exams here. (Also see this post.)
    • Check out this list of things you should know.
    • Practice with the DFEPs.
    • Come to a review session next week (hosted by me):
