Assignment #3 Due Wednesday (To TURN IN)

For the following problems, the setup is 2/3 and the solution if 1/3. You are encouraged to use a calculator or software such as Maple of Matlab to solve the matrix equation. You do not have to solve it by hand. However, for our information, please tell what technology you used if you solve it this way.

Turn in Problems 1.9 #3, 4, 6, 10 (Set up a migration matrix for #10. In each case you should use matrices and vectors.)

For practice, you may want to try some or all of #1, 3, 5, 9, since the have answers given at the back of the book.
