The two clusters are on the opposite sides of the campus, each within 5 to 10 minute walk (University Village is slightly more distant; the hill between the University Village and the main campus is steeper than on the side of The Ave). Restaurants on The Ave cater to students and so they look appropriately run down, nonetheless some are quite good. The University Village serves more upscale customers. The food quality is not much different on both sides. You should expect to spend $10-$15 (including tax and gratuity) on lunch in the University Village, and perhaps a couple of dollars less on The Ave.
