Obtaining Your Licenses
go to the MathWorks Web site at www.mathworks.com
and click Support. On the support page, under Installation & Licensing, click the Get assistance link.
You can also obtain your PLP by contacting The MathWorks via:
www.mathworks.com
and click Access Login. If you have an Access Login, you can see all of your licenses.
www.mathworks.com
and click Contact Us at the top of the page.
Depending on you request, please have ready, or include in your e-mail or fax, these items:
If you have not previously installed MATLAB at your site, you can find your License Number on the upper-right corner of the packing slip.
If you have a previous version of MATLAB running at your site, you can obtain your License Number by entering the license
command or the ver
command at the MATLAB command prompt.
Finding the Host ID on a Windows System
For network installations, you need to supply the host ID of the server on which you intend to run the license manager. On PCs running the Windows operating system, you use the Ethernet address or IP address as the host ID. To get this information, open a command prompt window and run the ipconfig
command.
Note Be sure to get the host ID of the system on which you plan to run the license manager, not the host ID of a client workstation. |
