This class begins a big unit on similarity. Ratios for transversals in notebook paper. Definition of similarity. Introduction to Thales Theorem that connects parallels and similar triangles. Statement of three criteria for similarity of triangles: SAS, SSS, and AA. (Details left to reading.)

Construction of segments in given ratios. For example, 3/5 of a segment.
