  • Based on the work of Assignment 6A, the class will explore several special shapes and ratios.
  • Also, there will be practice with ratios in triangles and trapezoids.

  • The work on concurrence of medians a midpoint figure from Assignment 6B will be discussed.
  • Also, the classification of quadrilaterals will be considered in group work.

487 Wednesday 11/3 Lab 6 - Part 1 and Part 2

  • Ratios and dilations. This will be a new take on the familiar topic of similarity and ratios (including negative ratios). While new, it may help organize old ideas for the midterm.

  • Test will be comprehensive, choosing a few questions from all parts of the course.
