Noncommutative Invariant Theory
Seattle Workshop 2012
May 26-27, 2012
Objectives
Group actions (or Hopf algebra actions) on noncommutative algebras is
one of the main themes in noncommutative invariant theory. This topic
is closely related Artin-Schleter regular algebras and noncommutative
algebraic geometry, symplectic reflection algebras, Calabi-Yau algebras
and noncommutative resolutions, reperesentation theory and combinatorics.
We emphasize on recent developments and new directions in this area.
The workshop brings together experts working in various aspects of
noncommutative invariant theory and encourages interaction between all
participants. In addition to regular research talks, leading experts
in the area will give some survey talks.
