We will use Taylor Notes in weeks 8, 9, and 10.
Quiz 5 (on June 6, Saturday from 5-6pm) will cover Taylor Notes. There are
three questions in Quiz 5.
HW is due every Tuesday and Thursday at 11pm.
It's a good idea to work on your homework early (a few days
before the deadline).

Lectures: MWF 2:30-3:20 (Section E) MWF 3:30-4:20 (Section F)
Every lecture consists of two videos, one is called A (for annoucement)
and the other L (for lecture). A is a shorter one containing some
annoucements (usually 3-7 mintues). L is a longer one containing
the content of the section we are covering (usually up to 55 minutes).
These videos will be removed from the canvas after two or three weeks.
Grades:
Your grade is dependent on your ranking in the class, namely, determined by
how you do relative to the class as a whole.
Grades will be based on the
following:
- Five Quizzes together -- 80 %
- Homework -- 20 %
Homework:
Homework will be assigned
and collected via Webassign for all Math 126 classes.
Homework will be due at 11:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting week 2.

Quiz:
Quizzes will be given at your usual quiz section time
(with exception of Quiz 5) on Thursday in week 3, Tuesdays
in week 5, 7, 9, and Saturday week 10.
Quiz 1 on April 16 will cover Chapter 12.
Quiz 2 on April 28 will cover Chapter 13.
Quiz 3 on May 12 will cover Chapter 14.
Quiz 4 on May 26 will cover Chapter 15 and Section 10.3.
Quiz 5 on June 6 (from 5:00-6:00pm) will cover Taylor Series notes.

Rules for taking quizzes:
- You are allowed to use a TI-30X IIS calculator (no other calculator or electronic device allowed).
- For quizzes, you are allowed to use
one page of hand-written notes of standard size.
- There are no make-up quizz. If you miss one (only one) quiz due to unavoidable, compelling, and
well-documented circumstances, your other quizzes will be weighted more heavily. If something
unusual happens I expect you to be prompt in letting me know.

You may purchase a hard copy of the text
at the bookstore or use the electronic version
that comes with Webassign.
We recommend students to read the textbook before and after
each lecture.
