The final Exam will be given on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 5:00-7:50pm. It will cover Taylor Notes, Ch. 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15. The exam room is KNE 210 for Section E and KNE 220 for Section F.

Your grade is determined by how you do relative to the class as a whole. Grades will be based on the following:


Homework:

Homework will be assigned and collected via Webassign for all Math 126 classes. Homework will be due at 11:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

No late homework will be accepted.


Quiz:

Quizzes will be given on Tuesday in week 2, 5, and 8.
  • Quiz 1 on April 3 will cover Chapter 12.
  • Quiz 2 on April 24 will cover Chapters 10, 13 and 14.
  • Quiz 3 on May 15 will cover Chapter 15 and Taylor Series notes. (Update: Quiz 3 will be given on May 17, Thursday)

  • Exams:

  • The first Exam will be given in week 3 (Thursday April 12). It will cover Chapters 10 and 12.
  • The second Exam will be given in week 6 (Thursday May 3). It will Chapters 13 and 14.
  • The final exam will take place on Saturday, June 2, 5:00-7:50pm in KNE 210 and 220. The final exam will cover "Taylor Notes" and Chapters 10-15. You must bring your Photo ID to all exams.
  • Students who are unable to take the exam at this time must petition to take the make-up final. Petitions may be obtained from the Math Student Services Office. Note that the deadline to petition is Friday in the fifth week.

    Text and Material:

    "Multivariable Calculus", 8th edition by Stewart. This is a custom edition available in the University Bookstore.
    You may purchase a hard copy of the text at the bookstore or use the electronic version that comes with Webassign.
    We recommend students to read the textbook before and after each lecture.
