The College of Education has several new people this year with an interest in various aspects of mathematics education. Last autumn we had the good fortune to have Cindy Walker, who is one of them, come and get us started on a conversation which had a clear potential to be very fruitful. This week Reed Stevens, from the same department, but with a different slant, has agreed to come and give us his perspective. This has every prospect of being another rich conversation.
