Movie Time!! (but no popcorn)

Late in February, CIDR sponsored a forum by Barbara Walvoord on engaging students in the learning process. The forum engaged a good many faculty members--she did quite a nice job (see Newsletter #40 for details). In the course of it she mentioned having produced a videotape discussing five specific techniques for achieving active engagement in a large classroom. I promptly nabbed it for the next available Brown Bag, which is NOW!

We will meet at noon on Thursday, April 9 in the Math Lounge. First we will see the tape, and then we will discuss it. Come and join us!
