This Thursday, February 13, we will be having an extremely special Brown Bag. Our guests will be Deborah Hughes-Hallett from Harvard and her guests from South Africa, Turkey, Germany and (we hope) China. All five are in town for a symposium on international undergraduate education which Deborah arranged for the AAAS meeting that is about to start. One could regard the Brown Bag as a mini-preview of the symposium, but I think it might be better to regard it simply as an opportunity to have some conversation with a spledid array of visitors.
