What's it like being on the faculty at a community college? How is a community college like/unlike the university? Tim Morrison, who was a grad student in our department and is now enjoying a faculty position at Highline Community College, will be with us to talk about whatever we'd like to talk about along those lines. If I were a graduate student, I would plan to ask him what I might be able to do by way of making myself an attractive candidate for a temporary or full time position at a community college. I'm not, though, so if you want that answer, plan on posing the question.
