Brown Bag Teaching/Learning Seminar #13
Calculus re-re-...-visited

Most of our calculus discussions thus far have dealt with the in-house variety. I propose to expand our horizons a bit. First we will hear from some PFFers about calculus elsewhere in Seattle. Then we will hear from me (very briefly) about some of the multitudinous calculus projects all around the country. Then we will hear from Amy Rossi about a teaching approach invented by a Didacticien at the University of Grenoble. After which we will bid the seminars "au revoir" until October.

NOTE: The Math lounge being currently only suited to those who like a soupcon of plaster dust with their sandwiches, we will meet instead in C-36. Usual time and place, though: noon on Thursday, May 25.
