There will be an in-class midterm on Monday, October 7 and a final exam Friday, Dec. 13, 8-11am.

Solutions to midterm

The final exam will be cumulative with an emphasis on topics covered since the midterm. You may bring in one page of notes to use as reference on the final (one side of one 8 1/2 by 11 inch piece of paper). Here are topics covered in the final and some sample questions and solutions.

During finals week, I will have office hours December 11 and 12, 1-3pm.
