Midterm -- In Class (50 minutes), May 1, 2024

The midterm will be closed notes and closed book covering the material through April 24 (Chapter 4 in the lecture notes). The only thing you need to bring is a writing utensil.

The exam will be a mixture of multiple choice questions, applications of algorithms, reproductions of short and simple proofs from the lecture and applications of other kinds of concepts that we had in the lecture. Two examples of past midterms and solutions will be sent out by email. I strongly suggest that you try the exams on your own before looking at the solutions.

A seating chart will be posted here on the morning of the exam. If you need a left-handed desk or some other seating accommodation, fill out this form by the end of Monday, April 29.
