Mathematics 308H
Winter 2006
Homework policies
- You should use complete sentences in your homework –
not just a collection of equations, matrices, formulas, etc.
- You should explain what you're doing. See the examples in
the book for models of this. Section 1.2, Example 4, on page
23, is one illustration. You should strive to write solutions
which would fit in the book as added examples, or which could
be included in a solutions manual.
- The course information sheet says that homework is due
Monday at 3:15 in my office. Let's change that to 3:45. Then
you can ask questions during my office hours and have a few
minutes to implement my suggestions.
- I will not accept late homework.
