Burning questions (with some answers):
If you would like to submit an answer,
send me email.
If you want to see the burning questions from last quarter, go to
the web page for that course.
- Why do the warning tags on Christmas lights read, "For
indoor and outdoor use only"?
- Clearly, lights with this label must be used indoors and
outdoors, simultaneously (as opposed to ones labeled "for
indoor or outdoor use" or "for indoor, outdoor, or indoor and
outdoor use").
- Frank asked: what is wrong with this syllogism?
- Nothing is better than eternal happiness.
- A ham sandwich is better than nothing.
- Therefore: (fill in the blank)
-
- How do you pronounce "Moor"?
-
- How much of Chapter 10 will be on the midterm?
- About the same amount as is on the practice midterm.
