Who should sign up?The courses vary somewhat in level and style, but all should be accessible and useful for secondary math teachers (and some may be appropriate for elementary teachers with strong math backgrounds). The weeklong courses address important features of the Common Core State Standards which are also relevant to the current Washington State Standards. The short courses address some of the the Standards of Mathematical Practice of the CCSS. Location and (optional) LodgingAll the courses are held on the Seattle campus of the University of Washington. Lodging on campus is available at an additional charge. Lunch is included for all participants. CostThe registration fee (without lodging but including lunch) for either of the weeklong Geometry and Algebra programs is $300; the registration fee for either of the two-day courses is $125. Registration packages including the cost of lodging are listed on the Cost Page. Clock hours are available for total hours of participation (including evening sessions) or UW credit for Math 497 is available at additional cost for either of the weeklong programs.
