NWMI 2007 Participant Information

Participants will receive information by mail during the summer, but here it is on the web as well.

All sessions meet in Hansee Hall! Campus Map showing Hansee Location.

Come to the first floor, on the southwest side. There will be signs directing you once you get to Hansee Hall. Follow this link to a map of the North UW Campus showing Hansee Hall.

Alumni Reunion Workshop: Saturday 7/28

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Workshop begins at Hansee Saturday morning, 9:00 AM. There will be coffee and tea.
• Do not check into your room until after lunch. We have meal cards for lunch.
• Pay for Saturday parking at the gate. Tell the the parking person you are going to Hansee.

Summer Geometry Institute

First session begins 7:00 PM Sunday evening, July 29, second session Monday morning 7/30 at 8:00 AM

• Sunday afternoon, 7/29 check into your room at the McCarty Hall desk (the rooms are in Hansee but not the desk).
• Come to the first session in Hansee at 7:00 PM.
• Sunday Parking on Campus is free. Pay at McCarty for a week's parking permit.

Number Course

First session begins promptly Monday morning 7/30 at 8:30 AM)

• Sunday afternoon arrival 7/29
  • You can check into your room at the McCarty Hall desk (the rooms are in Hansee but not the desk).
  • Come register for the course in Hansee by 7:00 PM. You can attend the Sunday evening SGI session if you wish.
  • Sunday Parking on Campus is free. Pay at McCarty for a week's parking permit.
• Monday morning arrival (plan to arrive in time to arrive at Hansee by 8:15 the first day)
  • Tell the parking attendent that you are going to Hansee Hall and pay. Get a campus map from the attendant.
  • If you are staying on campus, you can check in later. Go to Hansee Hall and follow the signs.
  • Arrive before 8:30 so that you can register.
  • Later in the day you can take care of parking permits for the week and dorm room check-in

Short Courses

Session A (Polyhedra) begins Monday, 7/30 at 8:30 AM. Session B (Group Work) begins Wednesday, 8/1 at 8:30 AM.
