Objectives:
The participants will be able to

Identify a rich problem

Edit a rich problem for use in their classroom

Score a rich problem for student understanding and instructional planning

9:00 Carol Hattan - Welcome and Introduction

9:15 - 10:30 Joyce Frost - Close Examination of a Rich Problem.

10:45-12:00 Karen Hall - Characteristics of Rich Problems and Why We Want to Use Them in Class

12:00-1:00 Lunch on your own

1:00-2:15 Art Mabbott Close Examination of a Second Rich Problem

2:15 - 3:45 All Staff and Participants - Edit Rich Problems

3:45 - 4:00 OSPI Mathematics Update
