(On the corner of 3rd Ave. S and South Lander) We will meet on the second floor and there will be signs. Parking is available is two small lots adjacent to the center. Additional parking is also available in a large lot north of the complex.

9:00 - 12:00 Morning Program

The morning program will be led by a team of teachers from Lake Washington High School.

  • Lynn Adsit: Vertical Teaming Through Powerful Problems -- revisiting classic problems at many levels.
  • Joyce Frost and Joe Frost: Prime Numbers -- Prime Sieves, RSA encryption, some Notorious and Named Primes and activities for grades 4-12
  • Renee Wageman: Geometry Jeopardy -- a review tool in a game show format

1:00-4:00

  • Karen Hall: News and Information from OSPI, the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction
  • Jim King: Angles from Many Angles -- Defining and measuring angles - is it more complicated than we think? Visualizing some striking angle facts. Angles beyond the plane. Amazing star spiderwebs with straws (real or virtual)!
