## Elizabeth Wicks

I am a 5th year Ph.D. student in the Mathematics Department at the University of Washington. My advisor is Professor James Zhang. My research interests include non-commutative algebra, representation theory of finite-dimensional algebras, Frobenius-Perron theory, derived categories, fusion categories, modular tensor categories, Hopf algebras, and applications to mathematical physics.

When I'm not doing math, you can probably find me outdoors! My hobbies include running, hiking, backpacking, and skiing. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places.
