This is the first choice. Convenient location (4 blocks to PSU) and quite comfortable. Twenty one rooms (+ five for speakers) are set aside for
participants of PNGS. The hotel gives a University discount if you call before September 25,2003--ask for the PSU/Pacific NW Geometry Seminar rate. If you reserve after September 25, the rate goes up.

• Single or Double Occupancy - $85, (rooms with king or two queen beds)
• Each additional person - $15 (+$10 for additional bad). They are ready to put 3-4 people in room. So, it may be $135 for four students (four
  beds).

4 blocks to PSU. Some years ago it was the best choice. Then it desended to the cheaper category, but is still quite reasonable.

10 blocks from PSU. Old reconstructed Hotel. Quite good.

There are lot of other hotels in downtown Portland ­ these three are closest to the PSU.
