Mathematical sites
The links below point to numerous other links, which in turn
point to ....
That's what makes it a "web".
Spend some time exploring the various links. You should always
be able to get back here by clicking on "Go" and dragging down to "Math Links
for MathDay 2001".
Use the Web as a Classroom Resource
- This is an example of
a page web links furnished to teachers in a recent Math Topics for Teachers
course on Spherical Geometry. Some pages provide information and some feature
interactive Java Applets, such as the Math
Games of Jeff Weeks.
Use the Web as a Professional Resource
The web does a great job of supplementing or replacing brochures and catalogs.
For example, here are two places to go for information about certain summer
programs for math teachers (a certain bias is showing here).

General tip: When you find a page whose appearance you like or if you just
wonder how they got a web page to look the way it does, use the "View -> PageSource"
command to see the actual HTML commands which generate the page.
