Games offer an excellent way to teach and learn mathematics. Challenges abound, though, both in choosing and using them. We will study a number of games from the point of view of their potential mathematical content, the best tactics for realizing that potential, and how to adapt them to different levels of student ability.
The games will be chosen to be accessible to elementary school teachers, adaptable to the teaching of all K-12 students, and fun to think about K-Ph.D.
