MATH 324 B - ADVANCED
MULTIVARIABLE CALCULUS

Textbook: Multivariable Calculus - Custom Edition (Early Transcendentals), 6th Edition by James Stewart.
Note: You can use any version of Stewart (or other calculus book) that you want for learning the math, but you need to check with the official version above to make sure that you have the correct assigned homework problems – for this you can find the book on library reserve.
Content outline of the course: Chapter 15 (Multiple Integrals), Chapter 14, Sections 14.5 and 14.6 (vector derivative stuff), Chapter 16 (Vector Calculus).
Please note that the material in the first four sections of Chapter 15 is review from the prerequisite Math 126. Also, in some versions of this book, our Chapter 15 is Chapter 16, just to confuse matters.
Homework, Tests and Stuff: There will be weekly homework assignments, short quizzes about once a week (announced in advance), one midterm and one final. A grading formula will be posted on the web. Also, there will be some In-Class Work that will be counted for Participation (not as a quiz).
