Section 1.3: #1, 2, 4, 24, 25 (give a short but clear reason for (b))
Problem A: Find an equation of the circle in the
(x, y) plane that passes through the three points (2, 5), (6, 3), (-1,-4).
Hint for Problem A:
Study examples 8 and 9 in Sec 1.3.
An equation of a circle is of the form x2 + y2 + ax + by
+ c = 0.
