Project 2 for Math 308A is due Friday, March 8. There is a due date for project approval in the background material linked below, but this due date is for Math 308G.
Students in Math 308A are invited to run their project ideas by the instructor, but this is not required. However, if you are going to do this, you should do it no later than Monday 3/4 or Tuesday 3/5. After that you are getting started too late
The main criterion for the suitability of a topic is that it should feature some real and essential use of linear algebra and matrices, preferably using something that you learned after the first week of the course. If the matrices seem to be an add-on after the real work is done, that will be a less satisfactory project.
