Assignment 3 (due Monday, 1/24)

Reading: Read Chapters 4 and 5.

In this assignment there are two kinds of problems.

• One kind you should TURN IN as usual.
• One kind you should DO but not turn in. Typically the answers are in the back of the book, but to get the most value from the problems, you should try them first before checking the answers. There will be some kind of assessment in class of how well you understand how to do these questions.
