No makeup midterms will be given. In case you need to miss a midterm because of a documented illnesses or an extreme, unexpected circumstance, please contact the instructor as soon as feasible.

If you feel you are sick on the day of the final do not take the test, but visit a doctor to obtain a doctor note and contact your instructor and the Math Department (advising@math.washington.edu) immediately. You may be allowed to take a make up final

Midterm 1: on Tu 10/23 in discussion section .

It will cover sections 10.1, 2.1 through 2.8 (skip 2.4) and 3.1 through 3.3 of the text.

Midterm 2: on Tu 11/20 in discussion section

It will mainly cover chapter 3 (skip 3.7 and 3.8) and section 10.2 of the text, but you need to know the main concepts we have covered in ch 2.

Final: on Saturday 12/8 from 1:30 to 4:20. in KNE 120 .

The final will be a comprehensive exam, covering all the topics we studied this quarter
