Textbook
Advanced Calculus, Second
Edition, by Patrick M. Fitzpatrick. We
will cover most of Chapters 1, 2, 3 and 9. It is on reserve at the Odegaard Undergraduate Library. I will also post
lecture notes online in catalyst.
Grading
There will be two midterms,
one final exam and homework assignments. The midterms are 25% each, the final
is 35% and the homework assignments are 15% of
your total grade. Late homework is not accepted. I will drop your lowest
homework score at the end of the quarter. You can follow your homework and exam grades from https://catalyst.uw.edu. I also post
lecture notes and homework solutions there.
