The final exam has been graded, and the grade record is now updated with final exam scores and course grades. The information is listed by the last four digits of your student id number.

I will have an office hour this Friday, 3 PM - 4 PM, if you would like to stop by to see your final exam or writing problem. If you can't make that time, just stop by any time during office hours next quarter.
If I don't see you Friday, take care and enjoy the break.
Here is some information regarding studying for the final exam.
The exam covers everything we've covered in the course, with the exception of Newton's Method (section 4.8). I recommend studying in the following order:
Be sure to get lots of sleep this week, and eat well. Exercise and take breaks to keep yourself happy and healthy. Don't do more caffeine than you normally do, and if you can, do less.
I've posted the second midterm and answers to my 124 exam archive (link at right).
There is no class on Wednesday. I will be in my office from 12:40 until 3:30 so you can turn in your writing problem and/or ask questions.
Please note that the Math Study Center will be closed Wednesday through Sunday of Thanksgiving week.
Here is the grade record. Your scores are listed by the last four digits of your student id no. I've dropped your lowest homework score in the calculation of your estimated grade, but the lowest score still appears as a matter of record. Please check that your scores appear correctly: if there is any error, please let Justin know.
UPDATE (5:45 PM, Friday): The record has been uploaded again to hopefully fix all remaining errors.
I will post a corrected grade record this evening.

I've checked the answers to problem 5 from the Spring 2005 exam and they are correct.
If you believe any other answers to the archive exams are incorrect, I would appreciate an email to that effect. Thanks!
A small correction to the review sheet: under Maxima and Minima, the section referenced should be 4.5, not 3.5.
The answers to Autumn 2007 MT 2 are now available on the archive.
The answers to Autumn 2007 MT 2 are currently not available. I will try to fix this as soon as possible.
Here is a review guide for the second midterm exam.
The worksheet for this week is a special one - Justin will be bringing copies to class.

The exam archive has been updated with answers and partial solutions to the first midterm exam. Please take a look at it. In particular, please look at problems 4, 5 and 7 with which a lot of people had significant difficulty.
The review has been updated to correct an error.
The archive of my old 124 exams has been updated with the most recent (last fall's) midterm one.
Here is a brief review sheet for the first midterm exam.
I added a link to my old 124 exams on the right side of this page. I need to update it with last autumn's first exam, but others are there.
Please bring a copy of this worksheet to quiz section on Tuesday. It is part of the course pack.
Here are some suggestions and comments regarding writing problems that should help with this first assignment.
Remember: if you are unsure of your work, the absolutely best thing to do is bring it to office hours and we can talk about it.
Also, I've added a few more problems to the homework assignment due this Friday related to Wednesday's lecture.
Please bring a copy of this worksheet to quiz section Tuesday. It is in the course pack, so if you have that already, you are all set. Otherwise, please print it and bring it to section.
The homework schedule has been updated with a few more problems, due this Friday.
