Math 300A: Other Websites you may find helpful

Here are some websites you might find helpful. The first two are closely related to our text (the book by Sundstrom). The next two give additional discussion and examples of some topics in our text. The last one is one person's answer to "Why do mathematics?", and may help you with the change in attitude most students need to make from their previous math classes to Math 300.

• Short videos on topics in the first 7 chapters of Sundstrom.
• Study guides for sections of Sundstrom.
• Conroy-Taggart text written specifically for Math 300 at UW.
  Important note: There may be some differences between the definitions and assumptions in Sundstrom and in the Conroy-Taggart. Always use the definitions and assumptions in Sundstrom (or any modification of these announced in class and on the course website).
