What will these pages include?
Each course page can eventually include embedded Desmos visuals, links to videos, short explanations, and project pages connected to that course.
For now, these cards are placeholders for course-specific visual galleries.
Foundational and Calculus Courses
Visuals for the main precalculus and calculus sequence.
Math 120
PrecalculusFunctions, graphs, lines, circles, trigonometry, modeling, and the visual foundations students need before calculus.
Math 124
Calculus ILimits, derivatives, tangent lines, related rates, optimization, motion, and visual models for changing quantities.
Math 125
Calculus IIIntegration, area, volume, work, differential equations, acceleration, velocity, and projects where accumulation becomes visible.
Math 126
Calculus IIIVectors, curves, surfaces, partial derivatives, optimization in several variables, double integrals, and 3D visual thinking.
Post-Calculus - hopefully coming soon
Please help me to convince the math department to let me teach these and beyond!
Visuals for differential equations, linear algebra, and advanced multivariable calculus. These galleries are planned for future development.
Math 207
Differential EquationsDirection fields, separable equations, Newton’s law of cooling, mixing, population models, mass-spring systems, and Laplace transforms.
Math 208
Linear AlgebraMatrices, transformations, eigenvectors, projections, systems, geometry of linear maps, and visual ways to see structure.
Math 209
Partial Differential EquationsPartial differential equations, wave and heat models, boundary conditions, separation of variables, and visual stories about functions changing across space and time.
Math 224
Vector CalculusVector fields, gradient, divergence, curl, flux, line integrals, surface integrals, triple integrals, and related theorems.
