Frank Zizza of Willamette University in Oregon has developed a package in Mathematica for computing with objects from symbolic dynamics. He has kindly offered to make this available on the Web. The package is Symbolica, which contains its own documentation. By downloading it, you can use it as a Mathematica package on your own system.
