DIFFERENTIAL GEOMETRY/PDE/NUMERICAL ANALYSIS SEMINAR Monday, January 29 Padelford C401 3:45 pm Jack Lee (University of Washington) L^p Fredholm theorems for elliptic operators on asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds Last spring, I described some Fredholm theorems in Holder spaces and L^2 spaces for Laplace-type elliptic operators acting on tensors over complete, asymptotically hyperbolic Riemannian manifolds. I conjectured then that similar Fredholm results should hold in L^p for 1 < p < infinity. In this lecture, I'll describe how to prove sharp Fredholm results on all L^p and Holder spaces in this context, given only sharp L^2 Fredholm results. The proof involves a pleasant mixture of analysis and geometry, and should be adaptable to a wide variety of geometric settings.
