About a year ago there was a two-day NSF workshop at the Carriage House, with a similar structure, but the topic was quite different (proactive recruitment in the lower division). However, their Report to DMS gives one example of community input, in this case leading to the establishment of the Proactive Recruitment in Introductory Science and Mathematics (PRISM) program at DMS.
