Brown Bag Teaching/Learning Seminar #7
Intracampus outreach

One of the great benefits of having the Brown Bag series is that every now and then it gives us an opportunity to get acquainted with someone from elsewhere on campus whose work and interests are related to ours. This Thursday will be such a now (or then): we will have as our guest Elham Kazemi, who arrived on campus in September as a member of the College of Education faculty, specializing in Mathematics Education. Elham's research specialty is elementary school teachers--how they teach math, how their teaching can change, what one can do to produce such a change, etc. She will tell us more about that research, and what she has done, and is doing, and hopes to do in the future, and then we will all talk about all of the above and related (or unrelated) topics. We will meet at 12:30 on Thursday, February 24 in the Math Lounge. Come and join us!
