Math 334, Accelerated (Honors) Advanced Calculus, Fall, 2011

(12/8/11) Mark has C-36 reserved from 11-2 on Saturday and Sunday (though it's unlikely that we'll get kicked out at 2). He'll be there on Sunday.
(12/4/11) Sample problems for the final exam. The exam will be at 8:30 am, Monday, December 12, in MEB 238.

(9/21/11) The book Principles of Mathematical Analysis by Walter Rudin has a construction of the real numbers (as Dedekind cuts) from the rational numbers. It is on reserve in the math library. The reals can also be constructed from the rationals using Cauchy sequences by a general process known as completion that applies to any metric space.
