Other Books

Here are two other books that may be useful for Math 445

G. D. Birkhoff and R. Beatley, Basic Geometry

Publisher: American Mathematical Society, ISBN 0-8218-2101-6

This book will not be used as a text in 445. But it you already have it from Math 444, you may find it useful as a reference for plane geometry.

D. A. Brannan, M. F Esplen, and J. J. Gray, Geometry

Publisher: Cambridge University Press, ISBN 0-521-59787-0

Useful reference. This book is a good reference for some of the topics in 445, especially affine geometry, projective and spherical geometry. For other topics, the point of view is somewhat different what will be taken in 445.
