  • Opener: Cut a 3 x 5 index card in half; then cut one half again along an altitude into similar sub-triangles. What are the lengths of all the sides?
  • Group: General right triangle dimensions. Thales example. Isosceles triangle with similar subtriangle. Find the dimensions using similarity.. Link to Handout.
