No makeup midterms will be given. In case you need to miss a midterm because of a documented illnesses,significant hardship due to reasons of faith or conscience or an extreme, unexpected circumstance, please contact the instructor as soon as feasible,BEFORE the exam. Petition for taking the common make up final must be turned in as soon as possible to the Math Advising Office. Please ask the Math Advising office about the deadline to turn this petition in.

Midterm 2: on Thursday 11/14 in quiz section

It will cover chapters 7 through 13

The midterm will have three problems

1) A min/max problem (chapter 7)

2) An eponential modelling problem (chapters 10,11,12)

3) A function problem , dealing with concepts like domain, range, composition, inverse (Chapters 8,9), graphical operations (Chapter 13)

We have skipped chapter 14, so no linear to linear function problems will be on the test
