- 12.6 Summary Notes: Please print these off for reference, we are discussing names and several 3D shapes and it is nice to have the pictures from these lecture notes for reference.
- Conic Sections: This is an optional supplement that lets you know what conic sections are and it gives a visual of the shape of a hyperbola.

Announced 3/25: Important textbook and Webassign information:
- All our course interaction, quizzes and live content will be on my Math 126 C and D Canvas Course Page. You will find pre-recorded video lectures, discussion boards, lecture quizzes, and links to live-stream lectures. So use the Canvas page for interactions and use this page for finding extra review materials.
- General course information can be found at the Math Department 126 Website.
- Your first homework assignment will be visible the first day of class. Note: UW students need to use a special login page for webassign. https://www.webassign.net/washington/login.html.
- If you already have multi-term access, then you are all set (I think that was $92 last term). But if you purchased single-term access last quarter (I think it is $40) or if are new to UW calculus, then you will need to purchase access.
- To purchase access:
  - Go to WebAssign Login Page to create a WebAssign account. You have 14-days of FREE ACCESS to WebAssign. You are automatically enrolled in the Math 126 Section you are registered for and you should be able to see your course and assignments when classes start.
  - Before the FREE ACCESS ends, you need to pay the $40 fee to the University Bookstore by : CLICKING HERE
  - If you are planning on taking at least 3 courses in the FULL CALCULUS series Math 124/5/6 and Math 324 please email the Bookstore at at txtsupport@ubookstore.com for an alternative purchase option that will be about $92 for all four quarters (you can also access this $92 multiterm price through this link)
  - When you purchased from the bookstore you will get an email confirming you are in the OPT-IN and the trial message will disappear at the end of the second week (so it will still say trial period, but ignore it).
