Announced 1/2/19: Welcome to Math 112! On the first day of the quarter, before you do anything else, go to the Webassign homework. Click this link (Webassign Homework) to log-in and use the big red button in the middle of the page which says "Log In @ the University of Washington" (you must use this log-in button). The course and assignments will only become visible on the first day of class.

Textbook Information:
- If you purchased Webassign and/or the text for Math 111 (with life-of-edition access), you do not need to purchase anything new for this quarter.
- If you did not take Math 111 at UW with Webassign, you must purchase a Webassign access code in order to complete the homework for the course. You are NOT required to purchase a hard copy of the text, an electronic copy comes with your Webassign homework.
  UW Webassign Log-In: Webassign Homework (you can purchase access in webassign if you did not take Math 111).
- If you wish to purchase a hard copy of the text, the book is Mathematical Applications for the Management, Life, and Social Sciences, 12th edition, by Harshbarger/Reynolds. You may purchase a custom, loose-leaf edition of the text, listed as Applied Mathematics for Business, at the University Book Store. (Chapters 1-6 are used in Math 111 and chapters 9-14 are used in Math 112.) A new copy of the text comes bundled with an access code for Webassign at the bookstore.
- Whether you use the hard copy or electronic copy of the text, all students must have a Webassign access code. Webassign offers a two-week grace period during which you may access your homework without entering an access code.
Other Required Materials:
- a clear plastic ruler;
- a TI 30X IIS calculator (NO other calculator model is allowed)
